The GRE General Test is required by most graduate schools as an entrance exam and measures verbal and quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing skills.  It is offered as a computer based test (CBT) Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays in the Office of Testing Services in the John E.

.  Note: It costs $23 for each additional school after four or to send scores out to schools later.

GRE - $185.00 (check website: www.gre.org for any updates on test fees).. When you take the GRE, you have the option of sending your scores to up to four schools.
